Partners for Youth brings Rock Your Mic presentations, practical prevention curriculum, family support, community events, and a message of hope to teens and families across Washington County and Hagerstown.
This is not a one-time event. It is a year-long outreach strategy designed to meet young people and families where they already gather.

Live prevention presentations
Rock Your Mic will provide monthly presentations that use storytelling, humor, practical teaching, and hope to help teens make safer decisions.

Family-centered support
The partnership will connect families to ongoing strengthening programs, printed resources, and practical conversations that continue beyond the event.

Community collaboration
Local organizations, churches, schools, youth programs, recreation centers, and community partners can work together around one clear prevention message.

What Partners for Youth will do

Each month, the partnership will bring a prevention-focused presentation to a youth, family, school, church, or community setting in Washington County or Hagerstown.

The message will be community-based and faith-informed, offering a Christ-centered context without losing the practical tools families need.

✔️12 monthly Rock Your Mic prevention presentations throughout the year
✔️Possible added school assemblies as scheduling and venue access allow
✔️Public events, concerts, fundraisers, community meetings, and youth gatherings
✔️Promotion of a local Christian family choir and ongoing family-strengthening program
✔️Rock Your Mic curriculum and a completion ceremony for participants who complete most of the year
When young people hear the message before the pressure, before the crisis, and before the addiction, we give them a better chance to grow up clean, bright, safe, and free.
