When starting ROCK YOUR MIC I found out quickly the struggle of having a tight budget or no budget at all BUT still having the need for quality resources. So for as long as I can, I'm continuing this annual commitment... Again this school year I'm offering a FREE bullying prevention assembly to a school.
If you can relate to the budgeting issue I'm sure you can appreciate this element of "Rock Your Mic." So I'd like for you to share this message with someone that you know has the ability to request such a thing for their school.
I've loved doing this for two major reasons:
(1) It blesses a school in need.
(2) It reminds me to never forget where I came from.
Through the bullying prevention assembly called the #BeAHeroTour we have seen massive results in:
Let's face it we can get in a rut by seeing and hearing all the nonsense of students in this culture BUT when you see students change their negative behavior into positive behavior AND act out on it - it does something in you doesn't it?
MAKE THE MOVE and do it for your kids, your school and your community. If you are selected you will receive a phone call by me and we will begin the process of hosting the FREE bullying prevention during the school year.
Because Students Matter,
Tyree D. Sterling
P.S. Get started by emailing me at [email protected] and put "FREE ASSEMBLY INQUIRY" in the subject line.

Through the bullying prevention assembly called the #BeAHeroTour we have seen massive results in:
- Seeing the student that has played the role of the bully apologize to others.
- I've seen the face of the student light up who was bullied as the weight of insecurity is lifted and is exchanged for hope because the one bullied them apologized OR a bystander has said, "I'm sorry, I've seen what was happening and never spoke up and now got your back."
- Seeing the bystanders aka "modern superheroes" make a commitment to make their school and community a better place because they're learned the difference between tattling and reporting.
- and especially seeing the morale lifted of the responsible authority, adults, teachers and principals as their faith as regained by seeing all this go down in front of them.
