WRITTEN TESTIMONIALS
Q: We are on a small budget. How can we hire Tyree to speak?
A: Having a youth specialist talk to your students is a wise investment into their lives as well as in the future of your school. There are many creative ways to raise funds for those on a limited budget. For your convenience, here are a few ideas:
  1. DIVIDE AND CONQUER: Share the "Rock Your Mic" experience with another school in the same area on the same day and split the rates in half. This will greatly reduce your price.
  2. GRANTS: Write a grant to get funding. Here is a link on how to get this started: Grant Information.
  3. PTA/PTO: They might be willing to contribute or let you know of someone who will.
  4. SPONSORS: Contact local businesses and organizations like Kiwanis, Lions Club, Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. Remind them that donating to schools is a tax write-off.
  5. STATE FUNDING: Bring Tyree in as part of a theme, such as National Bullying Prevention Month (October), etc. Check with your local school district or state government office and find out who you need to contact to apply funding.

Q: What types of programs/assembly's does Tyree offer?
A:
We have provided a detailed list of them here PROGRAMS.

Q: What grades does Tyree usually speak to?
A: Tyree has been speaking to large audiences since 1998 and his assemblies are able to match his audience. This means elementary, middle school, high school assemblies, leadership conferences and more.

Q: How long is the presentation?
A: A typical presentation lasts about 45-50 minutes from the time Tyree is given the microphone.
